Library Workshops

Beginning Spring 2014, the library will be offering workshops on general technology skills, such as collaborative tools (Google Drive), cloud storage (Dropbox), and citation management programs (Zotero). Additionally, workshops will also be provided on general library tools and research to help you learn new search techniques and tricks to find articles.

Workshop Schedule:
February 10 and 13: "Gain In-Cite"

Do you know why we cite sources?
Do you know how to prevent unintentional plagiarism?
Do you know what it takes to cite your sources?
Join us for "Gain In-Cite!" Learn how to use the citation conventions of MLA, APA, and Chicago that will help you become a more successful writer! This workshop is presented by the LRC in conjunction with the English Division. Presenters Andrea Robertson, Matthew Herrmann, and Garrison Libby will help you become an expert in citation.
This session will be held from on February 10 from 2:30 to 3:30 in Classroom Building A, room 107 and on February 13 from 12:30 to 1:30 in Classroom Building A, room 120.
